Vegetable Car

After the fries and the sweet onion rings,
After the fine extra crunchy fried wings,
That we munch as we watch the world come to a boil,
What do we do with the leftover oil?

Give me your oil and I can go far,
Give me your oil, says the Vegetable Car.

After the chimichangas and the donuts so round,
The oil they were fried in, where is it bound?
Does it go to the landfill when it’s cooked up your meal,
Or could it be running your automobile?

Give me your oil and I can go far,
Give me your oil, says the Vegetable Car.

Regular diesel can mess up the air.
For children with asthma it just isn’t fair,
But your vegetable oil burns so slick and so neat,
It’s easy to breathe and it smells like a treat.

Give me your oil and I can go far,
Give me your oil, says the Vegetable Car.
